Spring Into Nature
    Rue Anemone

ANS offers many opportunities for adults to immerse themselves in the many and marvelous rites of spring in the mid-Atlantic. From birds to butterflies and flowers to frogs, we’ll introduce you to the plants, animals, and geology of the region, through classes and field trips, both short and long—weekend and weekday.

For in-depth study, check out our Natural History Field Studies (NHFS) classes. These evening courses, such as Spring Flower ID and Weather and Climate, among others, start April 5 at our Woodend Sanctuary and/or the Metro-accessible Capital Gallery, DC.

Don’t want to attend a class at night?  Consider our NEW Introduction to Spring Flowers class offered on Friday mornings at our Woodend Sanctuary, in collaboration with Montgomery College’s Lifelong Learning Institute.

Find even more half-to-full-day classes and field trips.
