Summer Camp Registration Opens in January!  
Summer CampersRegistration for summer camp opens to all ANS members (including those who joined by December 2) on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 9am.  Summer camp registration opens to nonmembers and those joining after December 2 on Friday, January 31 at 9am. We offer camps at four locations: Chevy Chase, Rockville, Leesburg and Broadlands. Find a camp and sign up.  

Urge the County Council to Save Ten Mile Creek  
Because Our Last, Best Creek is Worth SavingThanks to your support and the efforts of the Save Ten Mile Creek Coalition, we came out on top during the two evening County Council public hearings last month on the Ten Mile Creek Watershed Plan. In January, the Council will hold three committee worksessions on Ten Mile Creek. They need to hear from you. Email the County Council and tell them to Save Ten Mile Creek, Little Seneca Reservoir and our region's drinking water. Take Action Now!

Sign Up Before They Fill Up 
Study Birds of North America, Winter Woody Plant ID, Animal Behavior, or other timely topics through the Natural History Field Studies Program, which ANS cosponsors with the Graduate School USA. Enroll in the evening classes for professional development, personal enrichment, or to earn a Certificate of Accomplishment. Winter classes begin January 21 at our Woodend Sanctuary, MD and the Metro-accessible Capital Gallery, DC. Register today
